Sift together flour and cocoa, add sugar. Then add milk, melted butter, vanilla and nuts to the dry ingredients. Turn into buttered pie dish. Ingredients and method for sauce: 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 tablespoon cocoa 3/4 cup boiling water
Combine sauce ingredients and pour over top of pudding. Bake in oven at 200 degree celsius for 30 to 40 minutes. If you prefer you can leave out the nuts. Three Favorite Ways to Serve This Chocolate PuddingChocolate pudding can be a quick dessert for all ages. You just have to know how to jazz it up so it fits a variety of different situations. Option 1: Layering Create a larger dessert or individual parfaits by layering chocolate pudding with other ingredients. You can use fresh berries, whipped cream, nuts, or another flavor of pudding. Don't forget to give it a decorative dash on the top as a final layer. Option 2: Freezing Create frozen pudding sandwiches by placing the pudding between graham crackers and freezing. You can also mix the pudding with peanut butter to create a thicker consistency that mimics ice cream a bit better. The sandwiches can be formed and frozen individually in freezer bags, or you can create a larger dessert with layers of pudding, whipped cream and graham crackers. Option 3: Try it into Mousse Create a light and fluffy chocolate mousse that can be placed inside a pastry or just enjoyed out of a decorative serving dish with a garnish of red berries. The most basic mousse is created by whipping chocolate pudding with whipped cream. There are many different recipes that add other ingredients to give the chocolate mousse a different flavor.
