Butterscotch Sauce

Butterscotch Sauce - easy and simple to make and delicious and another one of my friend Dorothy's recipes.

Ingredients

3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
300 mls cream - light cream works just as well
80 grams butter

Method

Combine ingredients in medium saucepan; stir over low heat until sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.

This sauce is good poured over warm Sticky Date Pudding . You might like to add some strawberries and cream and/or ice cream.
