My name is Lorraine and I am really excited about this web site and sharing my yummy easy dessert recipes and homemade biscuit recipes with the world.

Every recipe on this site has been tried and tested by people I know. For each recipe I will mention from whom the recipe came and their connection to me, so that hopefully you feel you are getting to know me a little and also my family and friends.

If there is a particular homemade biscuit recipes, easy dessert recipes, baking recipes or homemade recipes that you are looking for and it is not on my site, please contact me, I would love to hear from you. Chances are that if I don’t have it, I will be able to find it for you.

I love food and cooking, so it was just as well that I was born into a family who also share my love of food and cooking and out of that was born, for me, a love of collecting recipes.

A lot of my recipes have been handed down to me from my mother and grandmothers as well as aunts, cousins and friends.

I have hundreds if not thousands of recipes and am still collecting. If I go out for a meal to a friend’s place and they have prepared a meal I haven’t tried, then chances are I will go home with that recipe.

One of my earliest memories is of coming home from school, entering the kitchen to the heart warming smell of baking. It conjures up for me happy family times, for, as well as the food not only tasting good, it looked and smelt good too.

I enjoy entertaining and having family and friends over for a meal. It really is one of life's simple pleasures.

Cooking really is a family affair.

Both my daughters Alexandra and Stephanie have followed on with this tradition and now my two grandsons Luca and Marcus are learning to cook as well and I’m sure that in the future my granddaughter Arabella will also inherit the love of cooking.

I look forward to being part of their cooking adventures and I would also love to be part of yours.
